The worst luck....
Okay so as I am sitting here trying to figure out how on earth to change this background.... it's almost time to head back to church!! Can someone help me out???? How do I do it? I copied and pasted the code but, it just adds it to the generic original template?? What am I doing wrong?
Find the one you like, click on it, Sign in to Blogger. This will take you to your Dashboard. Under the blog you wish to change the background for, click on Layout. You are now in the Add and Arrange Page Elements screen.
Click Add a Gadget. You are now in the Choose a new Page Element Screen. You'll see where it says HTML/JavaScript. Underneath there, click Add to Blog. You are now in the Configure HTML/JavaScript Screen. Under Content you'll see a large box, paste the entire following HTML code in that space.
Katy helped me. I still don't have mine they way I want but it’s a start for now.
Thank you for visiting my blog Cathy and leaving the nice comment. I'm still new to this too, but the other girls seem to have given great advice. :) Have a sweet day.
I am a born again Christian and reside in Fort Worth, Texas with my amazing husband Jason. We have been married for 11 years and share 3 amazing little boys! Devin, Mason, and Matthew. We have 6 goldfish. I am very much a book reader and have come to love PRIM items! When I am not reading you can find me cross-stitching or painting. We spend our evenings together at some type of ball game usually.

Where are you trying to add the code from?
The site I use requires you to use the minima layout first and then add the layout code by adding a html/java code gadget to your blog.
I'd be happy to help you in any way I can.
Also, thank you for the comment you left on my blog!! ((Hugs))
